More than a dozen people were injured in an overnight attack in Ukraine; Energy facilities were damaged in several regions

On the night of December 13, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, causing damage to critical and civilian infrastructure in several regions of the country.

In Nikolaev, at least 5 people were injured due to the strike, said the head of the regional administration, Vitaly Kim. In the Odessa region, 4 people were injured, in Nikopol - 2 , the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified.

President Vladimir Zelensky announced that due to Russian strikes, “thousands of families are left without electricity” in the Kirovograd, Nikolaev, Odessa, Sumy, Kharkov, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions.

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine clarified that electricity generation, distribution and transmission facilities in the Dnepropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Odessa and Nikolaev regions were damaged.
