The State Duma in the second and third readings adopted a law on the introduction of electronic student cards and grade books. They will be available via QR code on State Services and through the Max messenger. Kommersant writes about this.
Data on student IDs and grade books will be transferred by universities to the federal information system. Students and graduate students will be able to receive this information through the electronic databases of their educational institution, on State Services, as well as through the Max messenger.
As RBC notes , upon personal application from the student, it will remain possible to issue student tickets and student records in paper form.
Exceptions will also be made for students in educational organizations that train military and police officers - the paper format will also be retained for them.
