Ramzan Kadyrov announced new appointments in the leadership of Chechnya. The posts of deputy prime ministers of the government were given to: Kadyrov’s eldest son, 20-year-old Akhmat, who also holds the post of Minister of Physical Education, as well as Information Minister Akhmed Dudayev, who recently shot a video on January 2 with Ramzan Kadyrov , where rumors about the serious state of his health are once again denied.

Kadyrov said that Akhmat’s appointment took place on the recommendation of Prime Minister Magomed Daudov.

“They have significant management experience, a deep understanding of the specifics of the areas they supervise, and have proven themselves to be responsible and effective managers... They have the necessary experience, a number of exceptional professional qualities, a systematic approach to work and high responsibility,” says Kadyrov’s telegram channel.

Akhmat Kadyrov has been managing sports in Chechnya since May 2024 (18 years old); before that he worked as Minister of Youth Affairs, and he also heads the Akhmat football club.

Other children of Kadyrov also hold government positions in the republic.
