The ideal partner for Russians wears casual clothes, has a higher education and is a reliable and financially stable person. Ksenia Sobchak writes about this with reference to a study by the Twinby dating service.

The majority of Russians want their partner to be older or the same age as them - this was answered by 58% and 34% of respondents, respectively. At the same time, 52% of respondents believe that they will be able to meet a person who matches their idea of ​​an ideal partner.

The factor of having a higher education was considered important by 67% of respondents; zoomers attach the greatest importance to this criterion—for respondents over 35 years of age, the education of a potential partner ceases to be an important factor.

Income turned out to be an indicator of stability, not status, for Russians, Sobchak notes. At the same time, women want to see their partner have an above-average income, and men want a stable and predictable income.

Researchers from Twinby also learned about the ideal external image of a partner among Russians - 54% of respondents prefer a fit or athletic physique, 36% agree with the average, 10% of respondents said that they do not consider appearance to be a fundamental factor.

The casual style when choosing clothes is preferred by 49% of respondents, the classic style was noted by 27%, loose or individual - 24%. Twinby also reported that people looking for a relationship more often form a rigid image of the ideal partner - they focus on age, income and worldview. Russians who have entered into relationships or gotten married are softening their demands, writes Sobchak.
