Historian Tamara Eidelman said that doctors diagnosed her with adenocarcinoma of the uterus. She announced this on her website on January 9.
According to her, the disease was discovered about a year ago when she underwent a checkup. “After some time, Dr. Rui called me - I don’t remember which country - and said that I had adenocarcinoma and my uterus needed to be removed,” Eidelman said.
Doctors performed an operation on her, but on January 8, Eidelman learned that metastases were discovered in one of her lymph nodes.
“Chemotherapy and radiology are ahead. I don’t know yet how all this will go and how long it will last, but I will keep my readers informed,” Eidelman said.
