More than 50 thousand people were left without electricity in the Dnepropetrovsk region due to Russian shelling; three were injured

On the night of January 10, the Russian army shelled the Dnepropetrovsk region. Two residents of Krivoy Rog and a resident of Dnieper were injured, said the head of the regional administration, Alexander Ganzha.

The attack caused infrastructure damage that led to a power outage, the official said.

Dnieper Mayor Boris Filatov clarified that more than 50 thousand people were left without electricity. “Nine apartment buildings were damaged. About 400 windows were broken there. Garages and cars were also damaged,” he said .

Emergency power outages also occurred in Kiev and the Kiev region, DTEK reported . According to the capital's administration, the city is experiencing interruptions in the supply of water and heat.

“Due to the unstable situation in the energy system, electric transport on the left and right banks of the capital has temporarily stopped,” the Kiev authorities added .

At the same time, the Ministry of Energy reported on the gradual stabilization of the “electricity supply situation” after the Russian attack.
