The Stoptime group announced the departure of drummer Vladislav Leontyev. He stayed in Russia

Stoptime drummer Vladislav Leontiev left the group, the musicians said in their Telegram channel.

“We (as we hope you too) are grateful to him for his time, music and contribution to the common cause and wish him success in his future projects. Together we passed a difficult test. But each of us chose our own path,” said the remaining Stoptime participants.

Leontyev’s last appearance as part of Stoptime was a street shoot in St. Petersburg with the Noize MC composition “Is the Universe Infinite?” Its premiere took place in the New Year's show “Peaceful Lights”.

  • The Stoptime group has been performing on the streets of St. Petersburg since the spring of 2025 and gained fame by performing covers of musicians declared “foreign agents.”
  • In October, members of the group were detained and sent under a series of “carousel arrests” on charges of organizing a mass gathering of citizens in a public place. In total, the musicians did not leave the special detention center for more than a month. After the release, Stoptime vocalist and guitarist Diana “Naoko” Loginova and Alexander Orlov left Russia. Later they performed on the same stage with Noize MC and Monetochka in Vilnius.
  • Stoptime drummer Vladislav Leontyev remained in his homeland. His photograph surrounded by police officers while serving “carousel arrests” became a symbol of the persecution of Stoptime musicians by the Russian authorities.
