The Investigative Committee for Ingushetia began to investigate a criminal case of violence against a local resident by members of her family, the press service reported .
The name of the victim is not indicated, but it is reported that security forces discovered information about “illegal actions” on January 15 while monitoring the Internet.
“The progress and results of the investigation of the criminal case are under the personal control of the head of the investigative department for the Republic of Ingushetia,” the Investigative Committee said.
Apparently, we are talking about Aina Mankieva, who ran away from her family in April 2025. According to the girl, at home she regularly faced threats and violence.
On January 15, Mankieva was detained in Moscow on suspicion of theft, but was soon released due to publicity in the media. Human rights activists feared that the theft case could have been opened to hand the girl over to the Ingush security forces, which would have been extremely dangerous for her.
Later, Mankieva recorded a video and said that she was safe. In the video, the girl thanks everyone who called the police department, wrote about her arrest and worried about her.
