A protocol on “LGBT propaganda” in Yoshkar-Ola was drawn up against the “Read-Gorod” bookstore network

The Yoshkar-Ola City Court received an administrative case about “LGBT propaganda” (Part 1 of Article 6.21 of the Code of Administrative Offences) against Gramota LLC, which owns the federal chain of bookstores “Chitai-Gorod,” Mediazona noted .

At the end of December 2025, a court in Chita fined Gramota LLC 800 thousand rubles under the protocol for “LGBT propaganda” after a denunciation of four books by buyers.
