A teenager from Moscow was sentenced to five years in prison in the case of filming for RDK

The 2nd Western District Military Court sentenced a teenager born in 2009 to five years in prison on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organization. This was reported by the department of the Investigative Committee for the Vladimir region.

The teenager was detained on February 25, 2025 in the Petushinsky district of the Vladimir region. According to investigators, shortly before this, during a correspondence “with an unidentified user,” he took the oath and joined a terrorist organization. In the message about the verdict, its name is not specified, but in March 2025 the press service of the Investigative Committee wrote that we are talking about the “Russian Volunteer Corps” (RDK).

It is alleged that on the instructions of the “curators”, on February 13, 2025, he filmed the military registration desk of one of the districts of Moscow. According to the investigation, he sent the files to the customer, receiving more than nine thousand rubles for this.

On February 25 of the same year, investigators believe, he came to the Vladimir region and photographed “one of the transport infrastructure facilities of the Petushinsky district.” There he was detained with the participation of FSB officers.

At the request of the Investigative Committee, the teenager was kept in a pre-trial detention center throughout the investigation. Until the age of 18, the young man will serve his sentence in a correctional colony, then in a general regime colony.
