The “Krasnoyarsk necrophiliac” who fought for Russia died in Ukraine; in 2010 he was sentenced to 25 years

Russian military man Sergei Pushnin died in Ukraine - the Krasnoyarsk Online publication refers to a file with his name in the register of inheritance cases. The name, patronymic, surname and date of birth of the deceased completely coincide with the data of the Krasnoyarsk maniac, sentenced in 2010 to 25 years in prison.

In the “Search for Colleagues and Missing in the Northern Military District” group on VKontakte in January 2025, a post was published under the heading “Looking for my father” about Sergei Alekseevich Pushnin. It states that he was last in touch on November 9, 2024, and since November 14, 2024, he was classified as missing. The same date - November 14 - is indicated in the register of inheritance cases as the date of death of Sergei Alekseevich Pushnin with the same date of birth.

There is a document on the website of the Yenisei District Court confirming that, at least as of 2016, Sergei Pushnin was kept in prison No. 2 in Yeniseisk, Krasnoyarsk Territory. As Krasnoyarsk Online writes, back in 2010, the court sentenced then 42-year-old Pushnin to 25 years in prison for the murder of three women and one attempted murder.

Pushnin committed the first two murders in 1999 in the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk, but the investigation could not find him. In 2000, he was arrested and sentenced to prison for robbery and theft.

After his release in 2008, in the summer, he killed a third woman in the same area of ​​Krasnoyarsk. In the fall, Pushnin attacked another woman, but she managed to survive. She later identified the attacker and he was arrested. Subsequently, it was possible to prove Pushnin’s involvement in all three murders.

It is clarified that Pushnin strangled the victims with a rope. In the media he was called the “Krasnoyarsk necrophiliac” due to information that he raped the bodies of victims after their death.
