Alexander Grezev, the former coordinator of “Voice” in the Sverdlovsk region, was included in the list of “terrorists and extremists” maintained by Rosfinmonitoring. This was brought to the attention of analyst Ivan Shukshin, who runs a telegram channel with registry updates.
The criminal case against Grezev was not previously known. He himself does not know what the persecution may be connected with.
In the fall of 2021, the Ministry of Justice declared Alexander Grezev a “foreign agent.” In May 2022, he was removed from this list.
Before the war and emigration to Germany, Grezev collaborated as an electoral expert with opposition politicians Dmitry Gudkov and Maxim Katz.
He was also an observer at dozens of elections at various levels, both in Russia and in other countries.
