The methods used by Donald Trump in foreign policy “do not fully correspond” with Russia’s idea of a multipolar world, Vladimir Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with Rossiya TV channel correspondent Pavel Zarubin.
Peskov answered Zarubin’s question about US claims to Greenland. According to the Kremlin spokesman, the approaches of Trump, whom he called an “experienced politician,” are based on the principles of “harsh and merciless business,” and he defends first and foremost the interests of his country.
The methods he resorts to are not entirely consistent with our approaches to a multipolar world. Trump is still a supporter of the “over-the-knee” solution in Russian.
