Two weeks of negotiations to end the war disappeared. Again attacks on infrastructure, retaliatory attacks and attempts to put pressure on Moscow through oil and sanctions, between all this - a failed “energy truce”. Ukraine itself has serious problems with energy and air defense, while at the front the Armed Forces of Ukraine in some places takes the initiative into its own hands. International situation

Over the past two weeks, the negotiation process to end the war has again gone through its usual dynamics. The escalation associated with mutual attacks on infrastructure and the detention of “shadow fleet” tankers with Russian oil led to new massive Russian attacks on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure and serious problems with energy and heat supply to Ukrainian cities. In Kyiv, according to official statements, at least several hundred houses will remain without heat until spring, primarily in the left bank part of the city.

At the personal request of Donald Trump, against the background of record frosts in Ukraine and the planned round of negotiations in Abu Dhabi, a pause in attacks on energy facilities was announced “for a week.” And Russian drones briefly switched to Ukrainian railway transport.
