Preschoolers were taught to “resist extremist ideas”

In kindergartens and other children's institutions of Mordovia, as part of the prevention of terrorism, conversations were held on the topic “How not to become a biodrone”; Vorstka found more than 10 such messages on social networks.

At the events held on February 16, children were explained who “biodrons” are and what methods of psychological pressure there are. The purpose of the conversations was to teach preschoolers “the basics of countering terrorist threats,” as well as “ confronting extremist ideas.”

"We are talking about how they are trying to use us 'blindly', turning us into a tool for committing sabotage and terrorist crimes. Terrorists and recruiters today act subtly - through the Internet, through playing on emotions, through promises of 'easy' money. Who is a 'biodron'? This is a person who is controlled remotely, like a drone," said art school teacher Yulia Sergeeva.

In the Belozeryevsky kindergarten, judging by the photo from the event, they acted out a skit: one of the pupils received a call “allegedly from the FSB,” after which he, apparently, was dressed up as a “saboteur,” and an arson was simulated using cardboard decorations with lights.

In the Tengushevsky kindergarten they explained the concept of “biodron” using the example of toy robots, and in the Kochkurovsky kindergarten they compared “biodrons” with “computer game characters”.

At the music boarding school, the lesson was taught by a guest employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Center for Combating Extremism. At the Atemar Children's Art School, they explained to children “modern methods of digital recruitment” in social networks and instant messengers.

“No one is born a biodrone.” They become one step by step, click by click, from one radical post to another,” said teacher Marina Zykova.

Previously, as Fontanka wrote, the term “biodron” was used as part of a forensic examination in relation to pensioner Galina Ivanova. In January 2025, she was sentenced to 10 years in prison for setting fire to a car near a military registration and enlistment office. The “destructologist” who conducted the examination came to the conclusion that the woman was subjected to the “ideology of Ukronazism” and, under this influence, became a “biodron” committing crimes against her country.

“Layout” also wrote about how kindergartens showed a play about a hare who “went to serve.” At least three institutions in different regions reported on the event involving the hare. We also talked about how cadet groups are being opened en masse in Russian kindergartens. Preschoolers there undergo fire training and hone the accuracy of submitting a report.
