A drone festival was held at the Higher School of Economics. Students were offered to join unmanned troops and go to fight in Ukraine

A drone festival was held at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow on February 24, on the fourth anniversary of the war in Ukraine.

As New Europe found out, military personnel came to the event at the university. They communicate with students and invite them to go to war in Ukraine by joining the unmanned forces.

Students are also given booklets from the Russian Ministry of Defense, which tell about military service and benefits for those who serve under contract in the unmanned systems troops.

Among other things, the festival features an advertisement for the Stalinist Falcons tactical group. As Radio Liberty wrote , this unit trains people to become operators of Shahed-type drones. The group does not hide the fact that it is connected with the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, where the Russian version of Iranian drones is produced.

As New-Europe noted , at the event guests were invited to control flying and ground drones, go through a race track with neon gates, use simulators for controlling and assembling drones, and also look at the developments and prototypes of drones.

Previously, the leadership of the Higher School of Economics offered students who were at risk of expulsion a year's service in the unmanned troops of the Russian Armed Forces. Students were promised guaranteed dismissal from military service, academic leave for the duration of the contract, payments and training.
