In Moscow, a man activated an explosive device near a traffic police car at the Savelovsky railway station. He and one of the police officers died, the Investigative Committee reported .
The explosion occurred around midnight. According to the investigation, the man approached the car of police officers on duty at the station and activated an explosive device.
The attacker himself, as well as senior police lieutenant Denis Bratushchenko, died. The name and photo of the latter were published by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk. Two more injured police officers, she said, were hospitalized.

The Investigative Committee reported on the initiation of a criminal case on encroachment on the lives of security forces (Article 317 of the Criminal Code) and illegal trafficking in explosive devices (Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code).
According to the telegram channel "112", the identity of the man who committed the suicide bombing has been established - he is a Russian, "acting on the orders of the Ukrainian special services." There is no official confirmation of this.
Several similar incidents have occurred in recent days in Ukraine. So, on the night of February 22 in Lviv, unknown people called the police and reported breaking into the store. When the crew arrived at the scene, an explosion occurred. Other policemen arrived next - and another explosion occurred.
Victoria Shpilka, an employee of the department, was killed and another 25 people were injured. The National Police of Ukraine qualified the incident as a terrorist attack that resulted in grave consequences. The suspect was detained on the morning of February 22.
According to investigators, a 33-year-old resident of the Rivne region of Ukraine, “at the direction of the so-called “curator” of the Russian special services, made homemade explosive devices and installed them in predetermined places.”
On the evening of February 23, an explosion occurred in the police building in Dnieper, the department said . They added that no one was hurt.
