The Seventh Court of Cassation replaced the folklorist and bard from the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (Ugra) Valeria Ledkova with a suspended sentence in the case of donations to the Anti-Corruption Foundation. He will remain in custody until the court decision is received in the colony. This was reported by OVD-Info with reference to lawyer Pavel Rusnakov.
Ledkov was convicted under the article on financing extremism - about 100 people who sent donations to FBK were already brought to justice under this article. As Sibir.Realii notes , in July 2025 he was sentenced to a 120 thousand ruble fine for several donations to FBK. The appeal court, however, decided to send Ledkov to a colony for three years.
Ledkov's son Konstantin, a librarian in the Nenets village of Krasnoye, was sentenced to 5.5 years in prison under articles of so-called repeated discrediting of the army, calls for activities against the security of the state and repeated propaganda of prohibited paraphernalia.
