In the Spanish city of Valencia, the National Police detained three teenagers accused of rape. El Caso magazine reported this.
According to investigators, the rape occurred on February 10. That day, the girl met with one of the three detainees. The girl met with him and, as stated in the material, had already had sexual intercourse by mutual consent at school.
They went to a shopping center where they met the young man's friends. The teenagers locked the girl in one of the restrooms, where they raped her one by one, filming the process on video. Later, the defendants showed the recording to other school students, the material says.
At first, the girl did not tell her family about what happened, but then the school administration saw a recording made by the victim’s partner during their first sexual encounter at school. After that, according to journalists, the girl told her parents about what happened in the shopping center.
The case was transferred to the specialized Juvenile Unit of the Spanish National Police, which opened an investigation into rape and violation of privacy.
Two 14-year-old teenagers and one 15-year-old boy were detained. They were interrogated by employees of the prosecutor's office for minors, after which they were released on their own recognizance. The accused are prohibited from contacting the injured girl, or approaching her closer than 50 meters.
All three deny the rape and claim that the victim gave her consent, El Caso magazine noted. Also, according to journalists, another 13-year-old teenager, who could not be charged due to his age, may be involved in the incident.
