The wife of US President Melania Trump chaired a meeting of the UN Security Council for the first time, which was held in New York on March 2.
“For the first time in history, US First Lady Melania Trump chairs a Security Council meeting dedicated to the problems of children in conflict,” the UN press service reported.
“Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, the Council is turning its attention to the ongoing crisis facing children in war zones,” the UN said.
