Apple introduced a new product - MacBook Neo. The company is positioning it as an "amazing laptop at an amazing price."
Now the device for $599 (about 47 thousand rubles) is available for pre-order. The laptop will go on sale on March 11, according to the official website. The gadget will be available in four colors: silver, pink, citrus and indigo.
The corporation promises that the laptop will be able to work without recharging for 16 hours. The device is equipped with the A18 Pro processor, which is used in the iPhone 16 Pro, a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina display and eight gigabytes of RAM.
Apple promises that the MacBook Neo will be easy to use, equipped with artificial intelligence and suitable for everyday tasks: working with email, creating schedules, browsing the web, taking educational courses and watching movies.
MacBook Neo has become the most budget laptop in Apple history. For example, the 2016-2017 12-inch MacBooks, which were also positioned as inexpensive, cost $1,299.
Earlier, on March 2, Apple presented the iPhone 17e, the most budget smartphone in the corporation’s lineup. It, like the MacBook Neo, will go on sale on March 11 and will cost the same as the basic version of the released laptop - $599.
iPhone 17e features the flagship A19 quad-core GPU released in 2025 and 256GB of storage. MagSafe wireless charging will also be included with the smartphone.
The manufacturer promises significantly faster charging speeds, although the device does not have access to MagSafe's full 25 Watt power. The new budget model will only be able to handle 15 watts of power, but that's double what the iPhone 16e could handle.
