Trilateral negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the United States are currently on pause. This was first said in Kyiv, and then in Moscow.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tikhy said yesterday that the next round of negotiations has already been postponed several times. “That is, they were not abandoned, they were not cancelled, they were just postponed,” he said. Tikhy urged not to look for a “double bottom” in the situation, citing the fact that the United States is completely focused on the Middle East.

Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov at today's briefing, in turn, said that there was a “situational pause for obvious reasons” in the negotiations.

The latest round of negotiations took place on February 17-18 in Geneva. Journalists wrote that the negotiating teams managed to find a compromise on almost all issues within their powers: only the most fundamental issues remained (primarily territorial), which required a political decision by the presidents of Ukraine and Russia.

Russia

Ukrainian drones attacked critical infrastructure facilities of Gazprom, which ensures gas exports via the Turkish Stream and Blue Stream, the state corporation reported .

According to Gazprom's statement, the strikes were carried out from March 17 to 19. The Russkaya compressor station, the starting point of the Turkish Stream in the Anapa region, was attacked by a total of 22 drones. The Kazachya compressor station was attacked by three drones, and the Beregovaya station by one.

As a result of the attacks, the infrastructure was not damaged, Gazprom said.

Gazprom regularly reports on attacks by Ukrainian drones on its compressor stations in the Krasnodar region. The last time this happened was on March 11th. At the same time, the company said that in two weeks, Gazprom facilities in southern Russia were attacked 12 times.

Ukraine considers Russia's gas infrastructure a legitimate target, since gas exports constitute a significant portion of Russia's income and directly affect its ability to wage war.

When the war started, it was scary, painful, wild. On February 24, 2022, in a working smoking room, he expressed his attitude towards this, after which he began to receive insults and threats from a colleague, a former citizen of Ukraine. But I didn’t think or say otherwise.

When the first negotiations took place in April 2022, there were many hopes. After each round of negotiations, there was no more hope. I tried to go into internal escapism, to close myself off from it. I can't stop it, but at least I can block it out. But it didn’t work out: news, acquaintances and friends in Ukraine, two dead classmates and a brother, the first drone attacks on Moscow, Prigozhin’s rebellion, posters calling to join YOURS, conversations on the streets, cars with the letter Z, non-functional Internet. You can't get away from this.

I didn’t leave. At the very beginning of the war, I visited friends abroad; they left in the 2000s. I listened to their conversations and realized that I didn’t want to be the same: talking about a country about which I no longer had any idea. But stuck in it mentally. And yes, I loved my city, my country. Before Covid, I managed to travel all over Europe, then all over Asia, and saw everything. But Russia was the closest. Thank God, the vast majority of people around me are against war and this hell.

It hurts, seeing images of unhappy people on both sides of the conflict, it hurts for those forcibly mobilized. It is very scary what will happen to Russia after the end of the war, when hundreds of thousands of criminals return from it. It’s disgusting and disgusting to see these cannibals on TV and telegram, bureaucrats and so-called “patriots”. I am disgusted by all these new laws, “spiritual and moral values”.

Tired. Very tired. I don't see any prospects. Emptiness. Endless emptiness. Nothing makes me happy. Literally nothing. Life has stopped.

In the end, I would like to appeal to the media and public Russians who have gone abroad: those of you who are trying every day to tell us how we need to live and how we correctly hit Belgorod again - shut up. Spend your resources helping our fellow citizens abroad. If you can, then within Russia. There are many here who need help. In pursuit of the same cannibalistic audience, you become the same bastards as the presenters of federal channels and the admins of Z-publics. And in this case, stop talking about Russia on behalf of Russia.
