The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, admitted that residents of the region cannot set up push notifications about the missile threat in the state messenger Max.
“Push notifications through Mach cannot be provided, because the software there goes to foreign manufacturers, and this contradicts the entire approach,” Gladkov said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
“This is probably one of the most difficult problems that worries the entire border region now. Our entire alert system is built on push notifications that arrive, for example, in the event of a missile threat or UAV attacks,” added Gladkov. He said he would try to solve the problem, but did not give any time frame.
