Over the weekend, Telegram in Russia did not become more accessible (although we did not hope). This is how it is blocked - we show it in one graph
The international research project OONI recorded a sharp increase in telegram blocking in Russia last weekend, March 20-22. Throughout the past week, problems with the availability of the messenger were growing, and by the weekend the number of anomalies (indicating signs of a potential blocking, they are highlighted in yellow on the graph) increased fourfold. The green color on the graph shows the percentage of availability of the messenger, indicating the absence of signs of Internet censorship. According to media reports, Russian authorities plan to block Telegram in early April. However, already on March 14-15, users began to report that the messenger was not available in Russia.
