Negotiations on Ukraine, which had not previously been very successful, turned out to be virtually frozen due to the war between Israel and the United States with Iran. But a lot of events are happening in this direction - the Verkhovna Rada became incapacitated, Russia went on the offensive in several areas, suffering record losses - more than 8,700 people in a week - Ukraine managed to sharply increase the production of drones, which are now increasingly hitting oil infrastructure and air defense systems deep in the Russian Federation. Nikolai Mitrokhin* - with a summary of the main events of the Ukrainian war.
The war between Israel and the United States with Iran has pushed Ukrainian negotiations into the background. Trump from time to time mentions some agreements and conversations with Putin and Zelensky, but no one seems to be able to distinguish where he is fantasizing, where he is bluffing, where he is lying, and where he is telling the truth - so all these statements can be safely attributed to white noise.
The fact that there are essentially no negotiations can be judged by the rhetoric of the Ukrainian leadership regarding the elections: for the last week and a half they have been saying with Bankova that they can be held no earlier than six months after the ceasefire - this is a sure sign that there is no talk of any truce yet.
