
Billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX has confidentially filed an IPO with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Bloomberg reports , citing sources.
According to them, the company expects to raise up to $75 billion at a valuation of $1.75 trillion. This could be the largest offering in history since Saudi Aramco's 2019 IPO ($29 billion).
Previously, the media reported about Musk’s company’s plans to raise about $30 billion. The placement is expected to take place in June and will be timed to coincide with Elon Musk’s birthday and the parade of planets.
According to sources, major banks are involved in preparing the IPO, including Bank of America, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley.
SpaceX itself does not comment on the information.
