The German-Ukrainian company Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI) has completed production of the first batch of Linza drones. In the near future they will be handed over to the Ukrainian military. This is the first mass product within the framework of the Build with Ukraine initiative, designed to expand the production of Ukrainian weapons at the expense of European capacities.

The Build with Ukraine program was first publicly announced by Vladimir Zelensky in June 2025. The essence of this model is this: Ukrainian companies will open joint production facilities in Europe and produce weapons there, which will then be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A model in which Ukrainian technological solutions are combined with European industrial capabilities is beneficial for all parties. Ukraine receives investment and the opportunity to scale, established supply chains and guaranteed production safety, and in the future, rapid entry into the global arms market as an exporter.

European countries, for their part, gain access to advanced combat technologies and tactics proven in real war, new jobs and tax revenues, and cheaper weapons needed for their own defense.

QFI is the first of the well-known projects that were created within the framework of Build with Ukraine. It is a joint venture that opened in December 2025 between German reconnaissance drone maker Quantum and Ukrainian defense startup Frontline Robotics. Drone production is established in Bavaria.

The first finished Linza drone was handed over to Vladimir Zelensky in mid-February during his visit to Germany.

Linza is a multi-functional drone that can be used both for reconnaissance and delivery of small cargo, and for direct engagement of a target: to carry or drop a small warhead. The drone is resistant to electronic warfare and can operate without GPS and save its route when jammed.

Now, after the release of the first batch of drones, QFI said that in the near future they intend to focus on increasing production capacity. Previously, the company reported that by the end of the year they plan to produce at least 10 thousand drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Due to constant air raids in the border regions of Ukraine, authorities are looking for ways to ensure a safe process of in-person education for children. One solution is underground schools. 17 such educational institutions have been built in the Kharkov region, 15 of them are already functioning, two more will open in the coming weeks. According to authorities, in total these schools will allow 40 thousand children to study safely.
