In Moscow, dozens of people came to the presidential administration reception office to submit appeals against the blocking of instant messengers and the shutdown of mobile Internet.
The Dawn party announced a mass submission of appeals at the end of March. Politicians Boris Nadezhdin and Yulia Galyamina, among others, came to the reception office of the President of the Russian Federation.
“It is necessary for society to understand that there are enough safe ways to express their attitude towards blocking,” Galyamina told Sotavision. Nadezhdin, in turn, told reporters that “the point of the action is to submit a large number of appeals.” According to him, in addition to those who came to the reception, “a lot of people submitted applications electronically.”
According to a Sotavision correspondent, people stood in line for 1.5 hours to submit applications. In total, according to the action participants, about 200 people came to the president’s reception.
