
On the night of April 8, Ukrainian drones attacked the Marine Oil Terminal oil depot in Feodosia in annexed Crimea, Astra and Ukrainian monitoring channels report.
Supernova+ claims that two tanks are on fire at the oil depot. As Exilenova+ notes, at night the glow from the fire could be seen “tens of kilometers away.”
Russia has not officially confirmed the attack on the fuel terminal. The Russian authorities of Feodosia only stated that “due to the current situation” the passage of vehicles on several streets was closed .
The commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned systems forces, Robert Brovdi, confirmed that the strike was carried out by Ukrainian drones. According to him, several Russian air defense installations were destroyed.
In addition, drones attacked Russian-occupied Lugansk.
The Russian-appointed head of the so-called “LPR” Leonid Pasechnik reported three wounded. According to him, apartment and private buildings were damaged.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported 73 Ukrainian drones shot down on the night of April 8, including over the Oryol region and annexed Crimea. The department did not say how many drones were shot down.
