Police left the Novaya Gazeta editorial office in Moscow after a search that took place on April 9.

The investigative actions ended around midnight, the telegram channel “Caution, News” reported . In the hands of the police leaving the building, they noticed a crowbar and devices for opening doors, as well as items seized during a search in the editorial office.

Novaya Gazeta reported that the journalists were released after a search that lasted 12 hours.

The search at Novaya Gazeta began around noon. There were several employees of the publication in the editorial office. Lawyers were not allowed into the building.

Police detained Novaya Gazeta columnist Oleg Roldugin. He was suspected of illegal use of personal data. He was detained for 48 hours.
