The 2nd Western District Military Court sent three ninth-graders from Podolsk to a correctional colony, accused of setting fire to railway equipment. This was reported in court.
All three were born in 2009. Two teenagers were sentenced to six years and six months in prison, and the third was sentenced to exactly six years.
They were accused of setting a relay cabinet on camera at the Grivno station near Podolsk on the night of March 23-24, 2025. Because of this, a case was opened for committing a terrorist attack (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code).
Police reported that they found “traces of forced entry” from a nail puller on another relay cabinet, but it could not be opened and set on fire.
According to investigators, the schoolchildren “decided to commit a crime because of a monetary reward in the amount of 23 thousand rubles for three, which a stranger promised them in one of the messengers.”
