Trump deleted an AI image depicting him as Jesus Christ. The US leader was criticized by Christians, including his supporters

US President Donald Trump has removed an artificially intelligent image in which he was depicted as Jesus Christ, The Guardian noted.

We are talking about a picture published on April 12. The image shows Trump standing over a man's hospital bed, surrounded by a soldier, a nurse and a woman praying. Light emanates from Trump’s palms, one of which he places on the sick person’s forehead.

The publication was criticized by Christians, including supporters of the US President. Fox News host and conservative commentator Riley Gaines said she "couldn't understand why he would post it." In her opinion, Trump would benefit from “a little humility.”

Conservative Daily Wire writer Megan Basham called Trump's post "outrageous blasphemy." Steve Dees, host of the right-wing BlazeTV, commented on the post with the word “No.”

Trump later confirmed that he himself published the image that attracted criticism. But according to him, he thought that he was depicted not in the image of Christ, but in the image of a Red Cross doctor. “Only fake news could come up with just such an interpretation [about the image of Christ]. I just heard about it and said, “How did they even think of that?” It was supposed to be me as a doctor helping people get better,” Trump said.
