Last week, on charges of fraud on an especially large scale, the Leninsky District Court of Krasnodar arrested Kondratyev’s long-time deputy and one of the people closest to him, Andrei Korobka, for two months. The property of Korobka and persons affiliated with him was turned into state income by the same Leninsky court at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office. The cadastral value of nationalized property is estimated at 10 billion rubles, the market value at 100 billion. By a decision of the Leninsky District Court, Andrei Korobka was also deprived of his powers as vice-governor of the Krasnodar Territory.

Among other things, the estate in the village of Dinskaya on the banks of the Kochety-3 river on Zhloby Street was converted into state income at the request of the supervisory department. The estate consists of several cottages; on its territory there are swimming pools, tennis courts, a bath complex, a pier, a house church and even a helipad. Previously, the media associated this territory on the bank of the Kocheta-3 River along Zhloby Street with the name of the governor and called it “Kondratiev’s dacha.”

Last week it became known that a search had been carried out on the estate, as reported by a representative of the Prosecutor General's Office, speaking in the Leninsky Court in support of the claim for the nationalization of the property of Vice-Governor Andrei Korobka. According to the prosecutor, law enforcement officials encountered resistance during the search. Nevertheless

Information about this was published in the media. Photos and videos of money, icons and jewelry taken at the estate were also made public. After which, unpleasant comments and uncomfortable questions addressed to Veniamin Kondratyev appeared under the posts of the head of the region. And the governor closed comments.

The second topic that worried Kuban residents, and not only Kuban residents, was another oil spill. On April 11, from a publication by the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, it became known that an oil slick was drifting in the Black Sea near Anapa. The operational headquarters reported that it was formed as a result of a Ukrainian UAV attack on one of the civilian ships. When analyzing satellite images, it turned out that the oil slick has an area of ​​more than one hundred square kilometers. On April 12, it reached the shore near the village of Vityazevo. It also became known about the release of petroleum products on the central beach of Anapa. Emergency Situations Ministry employees and volunteers began to eliminate the pollution. A large number of birds smeared in oil products were found on the coast of Anapa. On the evening of April 12, the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory reported more than two hundred birds affected by oil. But this post was soon deleted.

It can be assumed that the closure of comments in Governor Kondratiev’s channel fits into the same strategy of keeping silent about the latest oil spill in Anapa and its consequences.

On April 11, the head of Kuban announced his meeting with Vladimir Putin, from which observers concluded that Kondratiev managed to retain his post this time, despite the corruption scandal.

Let us remind you that Veniamin Kondratyev was re-elected for the third time as governor of the Krasnodar Territory in September 2025, gaining 83% of the votes.
