The personnel of industrial enterprises in Novokuibyshevsk, which were attacked by Ukrainian drones on Saturday night and during the day of April 18, were evacuated, said Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. According to him, there were no casualties.

“A drone crash was recorded in the immediate vicinity of a maternity hospital in Novokuybyshevsk,” Fedorishchev said at 7 a.m. — The windows in the building were broken. There were no casualties. All children and patients were transferred to neighboring medical institutions. An operational headquarters will be deployed on site.”

In the afternoon, the Samara Region Ministry of Health called the condition of patients and newborns “satisfactory.” The words of Minister Andrei Orlov are quoted by the TASS agency. Those in need of medical care were hospitalized at City Hospital No. 10.

In addition to Novokuybyshevsk, industrial enterprises in Syzran were attacked today. The staff there was also evacuated, and there were no casualties.

The attack on the region went on with varying intensity from three o'clock in the morning, the threat remained even after the daytime evacuation for several hours - it was lifted only after 14:00 (Moscow time), and the governor spoke about it at about 15:00 (Moscow time).

Pro-war telegram channels reported damage to oil refineries in both Novokuibyshevsk and Syzran. The Ministry of Defense did not provide a detailed report by region, mentioning 258 UAVs shot down over all regions on the night of April 18.

And through Russian diplomatic channels and state agencies a story is now spreading about Kyiv’s targeted attack on a maternity hospital.

According to current legislation, we cannot report on strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukrainian territory if they have not been reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
