The head of the Novosibirsk Ministry of Agriculture, who ran away from a farmer, was dismissed due to “accumulated claims”

In Novosibirsk, the deputy head of the regional government responsible for the agricultural complex, Andrei Shindelov, was fired . Previously, this official “became famous” on the Internet after a video where he avoided questions from an indignant farmer.

Governor Andrei Travnikov explained the resignation by “accumulated signals and claims”:

“[...] slow implementation of state support measures for agricultural producers, disruptions in the implementation of the program for the integrated development of rural areas, insufficient level of veterinary safety.”

• Let us remember that in March, a resident of the village of Novoklyuchi, Novosibirsk region, Svetlana Panina came to the government building - she tried to get an explanation after veterinary services destroyed her farm. The woman filmed on her phone how Shindelov was leaving the conversation.

“Why are you running away? ...They took the cattle without documents, called the riot police, and now you’re running away,” Panina says in the video.

• Authorities attributed the mass slaughter to outbreaks of pasteurellosis and rabies. Local residents complained about the seizure of animals without documents and low compensation. Later, Rosselkhoznadzor explained the disease in livestock as errors by the authorities.
