Adidas has introduced the Single Shoe service in Ukrainian stores - a combat veteran can buy one sneaker for half the price

The Adidas Single Shoe service, which already works in the interests of customers with disabilities in the EU, has connected Ukraine to it.

In all brand stores you can now buy any sneaker for half the price listed for a pair.

Russia is not on the list of countries where such a service operates.

The service appeared after Adidas worked with Paralympic athletes. However, for Ukraine it is designed primarily for combatants with leg injuries and lack of feet.

Ukraine, like Russia, received tens of thousands of wounded with mine-explosive injuries, most often to the legs, during four years of hostilities.

Prosthetics for victims in SVO is a serious problem.

In November 2025, the Russian Ministry of Defense complained about the lack of rehabilitation specialists and prosthetists. Military personnel allegedly stand in line for 3 months for prosthetics.

But a little earlier, Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Tsivileva said that the North Military District allowed Russia to “reach the flagship level in prosthetics,” catching up with China.
