In Russian schools, another lesson “Conversations about important things” was held on the topic “What does it mean to work in a team?”, timed to coincide with May 1 - the Spring and Labor Day. Students were told that success is achieved through joint efforts, mutual support and the ability to “work together.”
Following the script, the teachers explained that “a team is a group of like-minded people, where everyone contributes to a common goal,” and “success is achieved through mutual support and the combination of different skills to solve a common problem.”
“Teamwork is the basis of creative work and the most important condition for achieving success,” the teacher’s phrase according to the script.
In one of the videos, students were told that there are many youth associations and “communities of interest” operating in the country - “Movement of the First,” “Youth Army,” “Russian Student Units.”
Particular attention was paid to the “Russian student detachments”. Moreover, even first-graders were told about the movement: the children were explained that teenagers and students from all over the country in the summer, instead of relaxing, build houses, roads and spaceports, work as counselors in camps and help organize major events.
“The squad is the ideal model of a team. There is a commander, a commissar, a staff, as well as a uniform, anthem and traditions that create a sense of belonging,” the script says.
During the lesson, they gave examples of “teams that changed Russia” - from the first manned space flight to the construction of the Crimean bridge to the occupied territory of Ukraine and the volunteer movement. It was explained to schoolchildren that “the result of even the most independent individual is always the fruit of collective work,” and “all people are interconnected,” even if success is personal.
“Among us there are those who work and develop in a team, and there are those who think that they work individually and develop their personality personally. What if we tell them that the result of the work of even the most independent, independent and autonomous person is always the fruit of collective work?” says the narrator in the video.
As additional material, the schoolchildren were shown the film “The Feat of the Pioneers.” In the story, the student is given a book with a poem by Yevgeny Yevtushenko “Don’t forget your children, country.” During the reading, children are shown sitting in a school classroom washing blood from military overcoats. On the board it is written: “Everything for the front. Everything for victory!
“Don’t forget your children, country, the war has become a kindergarten for them. In the midst of flying deaths, you can forget everything, but not your children!”
At the end of the lesson, the teachers reminded the students that “all the peoples of our country are one big team,” and “unity has always helped achieve victories.”
