Before May 9, a poster “Happy Popeda Day!” was placed on the building of the children’s art school in the center of the city of Pyt-Yakh (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug). This was reported by 86.ru, which received a photo of the poster from a resident of Pyt-Yakh.
The head of the city, Sergei Elishev, in a conversation with the publication Podem, explained the appearance of the poster by saying that the contractor “turned on independence” and did not coordinate with the authorities all stages of creating and placing banners by May 9.
“We consider this as sabotage, because it has been spotted more than once. The auction is free, there are no others in the arena, and now he has become the winner - we are obliged to conclude a contract, although we understand that it is not entirely competent and not binding,” Elishev said.
He assured that the poster with the error hung only for about 10 minutes, after which it was replaced with another, and the contractor was forced to apologize on social networks. “Today he must come to our carpet and tell us how it all happened. We are conducting an investigation, to the point that we will send it to the FSB department, let them look into it,” added the head of Pyt-Yakh.
