The MTS operator spoke about the schedule of expected mobile Internet outages in Moscow before and during Victory Day, users who contacted the company’s support service with questions told Vorstka.
According to the operator, mobile Internet outages are expected throughout the holiday period, but there are days with the most likely widespread difficulties.

MTS named the “peak” date as May 7, when the dress rehearsal for the parade will take place. The support noted that the main period of restrictions usually coincides with the morning rehearsal hours - from 5 am to 13-14 pm.

The longest period of unstable communication, according to the operator, will be May 9 - the day of the parade itself . It is expected that there will be no communication on this day from early morning until the end of public events.
As the company indicated, shutdowns are also possible on May 8, but they will be spotty and short-term “depending on rehearsals and preparations for Victory Day.”
The support service also indicated that they cannot be responsible for the functioning of “white lists” - they may not work correctly: “ White lists will work, but how correctly depends not on the operator, but also on restrictions. Somewhere they can jam everything,” MTS added.
Earlier, “Verstka” reported that T2 and MTS operators also warned Muscovites about possible problems with voice communications before May 9. Using 3G instead of VoLTE may cause voice interference and distortion.
