Vladimir Putin, who spoke an hour earlier, did not say a word about the violation of the truce declared by the Kremlin, although even the day before the Russian Ministry of Defense promised an “adequate response” if the Ukrainian strikes continued.

• ️ An hour before Trump’s post, the Kremlin released a six-minute excerpt from a meeting of the Russian Security Council with the participation of Putin. At it, the president for the first time reacted to the ongoing air strikes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces despite the unilateral truce. One of those strikes on Friday knocked out the Rostov regional air traffic control center, paralyzing air traffic in southern Russia.
• ️ Quote: “The Kiev regime committed another act, undoubtedly of a terrorist nature, namely, it struck the Rostov regional air traffic management center,” Putin said.
• ️ Kiev’s strikes violate the unilateral truce declared by Russia on Victory Day. Ukraine did not join it after Moscow refused to join the regime of silence announced by Kiev two days earlier. Announcing the truce, the Russian authorities threatened Kyiv to give an “adequate response” to the continuation of hostilities, and to attempts to “disrupt the celebration of the 81st anniversary of the Victory” - a massive missile strike on Kyiv.
