Russian President Vladimir Putin on the evening of May 9, a few hours after the Victory Parade, came out to reporters to answer their questions. We will briefly retell what he said. These are not exact quotes, but the meaning of his words is fully preserved.

I think that the conflict with Ukraine is coming to an end. Mr. Zelensky is ready to hold a personal meeting. Anyone who wants to meet, let him come. It is possible to meet in a third country, but for this there must be final agreements. A peace treaty must be designed for a long historical perspective. This should be the end point. Negotiations are a matter for Russia and Ukraine, but we are not against US mediation assistance.
