Documents with plans to “increase the level of effectiveness” of VPN blocking to 92% by the end of 2030 have disappeared from the Roskomnadzor website. The Bell drew attention to this.

Two documents spoke about the provision of subsidies to the Main Radio Frequency Center (GRFC), subordinate to Roskomnadzor, in 2025 and 2026 “to ensure the functioning of an automated system for ensuring the security of the Russian segment of the Internet” (ASBI).

ASBI allows you to increase the throughput of TSPU - equipment that is installed on the networks of telecom operators and is used to block and slow down traffic.

Now, as The Bell notes, when trying to open files, a “ 404 NOT FOUND ” message appears.

About 20 billion rubles have been allocated from the budget for the work of ASBI in 2026.
