
Bulgarian singer DARA (Darina Yotova) became the winner of the 70th Eurovision music competition, the final of which took place on the night of May 17 in Vienna.

DARA received 516 points. Israeli representative Noam Bettan came in second place, 173 points behind.
Because of Israel's participation in the competition, it was boycotted by broadcasters and representatives of five countries - Iceland, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia and the Netherlands.
Ukraine was represented by singer Victoria Leleka, she took 9th place.

Russia took part in the competition for the last time in 2021, the singer Manizha then took 9th place. In 2022, Russia was suspended from the competition due to its invasion of Ukraine and was subsequently expelled from the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), which runs the competition.
