At the end of December 2025, a criminal case was opened against the ex-coordinator of the “Voice” movement in the Sverdlovsk region, Alexander Grezev, for justifying terrorism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). Grezev himself announced this on Facebook, publishing a copy of the resolution of the Investigative Committee.
The case was opened because of Grezev’s post dated June 1, 2025, dedicated to the Ukrainian Operation Web , during which drones attacked military airfields in several regions of Russia. The investigation classified the attack as a terrorist attack.
“The destruction of Russian military aircraft is a very good deed. I would like to wish that they weren’t together with the pilots at all,” Grezev wrote then.
The fact that a case under terrorism charges had been opened against Grezev became known on April 21, when the name of the ex-Voice coordinator appeared in the Rosfinmonitoring register. The police also put the electoral expert on the wanted list.
