The court found the Novosibirsk project for transgender people T9 NSK “extremist”

The Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Novosibirsk recognized the T9 NSK project to help transgender people and their loved ones as an “extremist” organization. This was reported by the First Department.

The court satisfied the claim of the Department of the Ministry of Justice for the Novosibirsk Region. Six people passed through it as interested parties, whom the department considered to be the initiative team.

According to LGBT rights lawyer Max Olenichev, in its decision the court relied on the conclusion that was prepared in 2025 by experts from the Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Since T9 NSK previously mentioned the word “mission” of the organization on its website, the court decided that “LGBT representatives position themselves as missionaries.” Another “extremist” activity, according to the court, is the organization’s conduct of the School of Peer Consultants. The court decided that such activities are aimed at reshaping, the actual destruction of fundamental Russian spiritual and moral values,” Olenichev said.

T9 NSK is the ninth LGBT organization banned in Russia over the past three months, notes First Department. At the same time, judging by the non-functional website and deleted social networks of the project, the initiative itself had previously ceased its work.

Prior to this , the “Russian LGBT Network” , the Samara organization “Irida” , the St. Petersburg group “Coming Out” , the “Resource Center for LGBT” in Yekaterinburg, the association “Guys Plus” , the Moscow Community Center for LGBT+ Initiatives , the Yaroslavl LGBT movement “Callisto” and “Center T” received the status of “extremist”.
