Hot water was turned off for residents of Yeisk district

The overdue receivables of heat supply organizations to Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Krasnodar by the beginning of May 2026 exceeded 1 billion rubles, due to which gas supplies to boiler houses were limited and interruptions in hot water began.

Deputy Head of the Yeisk District Egor Ivanov said that the problem is related to the debts of TsUP ZHKH LLC to the gas supplier and the expiration of the supply agreement. According to him, some of the boiler houses in Yeisk are now limited in gas supply, and the administration is trying to stabilize the situation. The head of the district, Roman Bublik, according to the authorities, keeps the issue under personal control.

Former deputy of the Yeisk Council Alexander Korovayny told Protocol that problems with gas debts in the region have existed for many years. According to him, the debt began to grow especially sharply in 2020–2021 and intensified in recent years after the transfer of the utility company to a concession. Korovayny believes that the previous leadership of the district, led by Viktor Lyakhov, deliberately brought the municipal unitary enterprise into debt and transferred it to the company on unfavorable terms for the district, despite the protests of deputies.

“The fact that hot water is being turned off now is not at all surprising, I’m only surprised that this is not done before the start of the season, when every time we were blackmailed that people would simply be left without heat in the winter,” said Korovayny.

According to him, deputies tried to stop the concession with a specific enterprise, citing complaints from other districts and the company’s financial problems, but the decision was then made by the head of the district. Korovayny also noted that the current situation is less critical than a possible lack of heating in winter, but turning off hot water in the summer still creates serious inconveniences for residents.
