
On the evening of May 25, a petroleum products storage base caught fire in the village of Kandy, Tuymazinsky district, reports the Bashkortostan State Committee for Emergency Situations.
Eight above-ground horizontal tanks caught fire, followed by a spill.
The fire started in a tractor-trailer and then spread to the tanks. It has now been liquidated.
“Unfortunately, as a result of the fire, a man born in 1974 was injured; he refused hospitalization. The cause of the fire is being established,” noted the State Committee of the Republic of Belarus for Emergency Situations.
The administration of the Tuymazinsky district reported that the oil depot belongs to IntekHim LLC, which is engaged in trade, storage, transportation and supply of chemical products. On the territory of the enterprise there are 10 tanks with fuel oil with a capacity of 100 cubic meters. m each, writes Kommersant Ufa.
There were no reports of drone or missile danger on the territory of Bashkortostan on May 25.
On May 13, an explosion occurred at the Nurlino linear production dispatch station (LPDS). The emergency happened at the RVSP-20000 reservoir (holding 20 thousand cubic meters of petroleum products) during work to clean the tank from bottom sediments. The reservoir was taken out of service at that time. The parent company explained that during the work the gas-air mixture ignited.
As a result of the emergency, five people died - workstations. On May 13, the threat of a UAV attack in the republic was also not announced.
LPDS "Nurlino" is a node of the Transneft - Ural system, ensuring oil pumping through main pipelines.
