Rusagro came under the control of Rosselkhozbank

The Rusagro agricultural holding, seized from businessman Vadim Moshkovich, came under the control of the Russian Agricultural Bank structure - RSHB-Finance, as follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities. The entry in the register appeared on May 28.

This is not the first nationalized asset for Rosselkhozbank. Prior to this, RSHB-Finance received management of the business of the largest confectionery holding in Russia KDV (Kirieshki, Yashkino), the canned food manufacturer Glavprodukt, the pasta manufacturer Makfa, the wine holding Ariant and the grain trader Rodnye Polya.

The previous owners are either challenging the decisions or have become involved in criminal, including “extremist” cases. The founder of Rusagro, Vadim Moshkovich, and the former general director of the holding, Maxim Basov, have been under arrest since the end of March 2025, they are charged with fraud and abuse of power.
