In Crimea, there are interruptions in the supply of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline and diesel

Russian authorities explain the situation by logistical problems

Gas stations in annexed Sevastopol have run out of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline, and diesel fuel is not available at all gas stations. This was announced by the Russian-appointed mayor of the city, Mikhail Razvozhaev, following an operational meeting on the situation with the provision of fuel to the peninsula.

According to Razvozhaev, at some gas stations of the ATAN and TPP networks only diesel fuel of the DT Ultra brand remains available, but not all stations have it. Fuel deliveries are expected throughout the day.

“Logistic difficulties remain, the reasons for which are known. The government of Sevastopol and the leadership of the Republic of Crimea are doing everything possible to normalize the situation as soon as possible,” Razvozhaev said.

Previously, the authorities had already introduced restrictions on the sale of fuel - gasoline was sold no more than 20 liters per car, and diesel fuel was sold using coupons.

Problems are being recorded throughout the peninsula

Residents of different regions of Crimea report a shortage of gasoline and diesel fuel. Maps of operating gas stations and information about the availability of fuel at gas stations are published in local chats and telegram channels.

Among the reasons for the interruptions, local channels cite regular attacks on Russian oil refineries, as well as problems with the logistics of supplies to the peninsula.

The land corridor to Crimea through the territories of southern Ukraine occupied by the Russian army has been increasingly subject to attacks in recent months.

Ukraine announced strikes on logistics

On May 29, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that Ukrainian forces had established fire control over certain sections of the Crimea-Donetsk route. The agency also published video recordings of attacks on Russian military equipment and fuel tankers.

Russian authorities do not directly link the fuel shortage to the Ukrainian attacks, but acknowledge the existence of serious logistical difficulties and report that the issue is under the control of the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Transport.
