“Caution, news”: the court sent the founder of the “Radical Patriotic Union” Vitaly Kolesnikov under house arrest

A criminal case has been opened against 24-year-old resident of Otradny Vitaly Kolesnikov under the article on justification of terrorism. According to the telegram channel “Caution, News”, the court sent him under house arrest.

According to the channel, Kolesnikov is the founder of the Radical Patriotic Union, a right-wing movement “with elements of Bolshevik ideology.” The detention may be related to public posts. Kolesnikov calls himself an ideologist of a “union” who “shares the views of all radical movements that proclaim solidaristic values ​​over commercial values.” New posts have not appeared in his public page since September 2025.

At the same time, Kolesnikov’s probation in the hooliganism case has not expired. In 2023, he and two minor associates attacked a citizen of Uzbekistan. In court, Kolesnikov called himself a “convinced communist,” and the attack on the migrant was an attempt to stand up for a friend. The court sentenced him to three years probation and ordered him to undergo treatment with a psychiatrist.
